Based in Sydney’s Inner West, Bread Budgeting Services’ mission is to be the go-to financial coach for professional services businesses, enabling them to take their business to the next level with plans that are in harmony with their lifestyle, values and financial goals.
Who is Bread Budgeting Services?
Bread Budgeting Services is the brainchild of Eliza Ludwig, an experienced financial analyst with over 15 years in financial accounting, management accounting and strategy analysis under her belt. She gained her skills in a range of industries, including not-for-profit, financial services, transport and packaged foods, in both Australia and the United Kingdom.
About Eliza
Organising + Maths = Budgeting!
Eliza was interested in organising and maths as a young child, so when her mother taught her about budgeting – which combines organising AND maths – she was hooked. At the age of 20 she started using budgeting to get the most out of her favourite thing – travelling – which enabled her to take many life-changing trips on a small budget and still be able to buy her first property at the age of 25.
Eliza studied Agribusiness at University and has a Diploma in Financial Planning. Having grown up in rural Ohio (USA) and later Perth (WA), her initial goal was to help farmers by working as a rural consultant. But things did not go quite according to plan: she moved to London after finishing her studies, to live and work for a while, hoping to “get the city out of her”. Eliza never got around to moving to the country, but her love of helping others through financial consulting stuck, which she now does through Bread Budgeting Services
Eliza now lives in Sydney’s Inner West with her husband, daughter, son and rescue pup. She loves baking, weights and watches every DIY show on offer.
Why Bread Budgeting Services?
Eliza was so lucky to work for an organisation that supported part time working parents. However, she wanted to contribute more but that wasn’t going to be possible on three days a week.
She knew that if she was dissatisfied with the range of work available for parents, then others would feel the same. She wanted to make a difference and give other mothers the chance to make successful careers outside of the corporate world.
Eliza also understands the curiosity and concern partners feel about the risk and return of having an entrepreneur in the household. She seeks to alleviate that by showing clear pathways to their goals. Added bonus: family harmony! Win win.
Values + Visions = Success
Eliza supports sole traders, entrepreneurs and small businesses by advising them on their strategic choices and helping them build sustainable businesses. Eliza pays particular attention to learning about her clients’ values and long-term plans in order to provide a holistic view of their business as well as their lifestyle.
